Hello Military Mom Talk Radio Listeners!

Thank you for tuning in to Military Mom Talk Radio today! Here is a little more information and some helpful links on our quick tips today.

DIY Homemade recipes:

Caffeine provides great antioxidants and tightens skin. Here is a quick and simple recipe for a Coffee Scrub. Try making an Eye Mask as well!

We talked about witch hazel but only touched on a few of its benefits. Witch hazel can be used in a number of amazing ways. It helps with acne, it reduced puffiness in eyes, tones skin, keeps skin moisturized, removes excess oil, soothes sunburns, soothes itchy skin.. and the list goes on! My favorite way to use witch hazel is simply putting it in a spray bottle and using it as a face mist. Add some steeped tea, rosewater or peppermint for a luxurious feeling mist.

Makeup Trends:

I am very excited about some of the makeup trends this fall. Bold brows, darker matte lips, no fuss neutral smokey eyes – so easy to get on board with these. If you want to ease into these looks, start small and layer layer layer.  For brows, try Maybelline Brow Define & Fill Duo $6.99

Maybelline Brow Define & Fill Duo

You can’t go wrong with the right tools. I love Anastasia Beverly Hills #14 dual sided brush $18.00. The spoolie end is perfect for lightening up brows that became too dark!

Love a bold lip but don’t know where to start? Try Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain $5.99. Buildable color and no need to worry about fading.

DIY Zombie Makeup:

Last but not least, my very own Dead Sets for $15. Just in time for Halloween! These are perfect for beginner zombies, children and zombie collectors. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments!
