Clearance tags are my tractor beams. After-holiday clearance is my all time favorite when items can be up to 90% off! This is when I stock up on decor items like lights, garland, ornaments and wrappings.

Packages, boxes and bags!

A.C Moore, Michaels, Target, Kohls and Kmart have amazing clearance on ribbons and wrappings. I’ve seen 90% off at Kmart and Target for holiday items. I like to stock up on ribbon or items that can be for any holiday.

Decor!

Lowes, Kmart, Homegoods (including TJ Maxx and Marshalls) and Target have really pretty decor. Lowes, I think, has some of the nicest quality faux garland I’ve found. Decor won’t last long so get up early and hit the clearance section a few days after Christmas. I went today and Target was pretty much picked through except for a lot of stockings.

A few days ago Homegoods had a TON of stuff all for 50% off but just piled on the shelves. So dig in! For quality pieces, they won’t last long enough to hit the really deep discounts but you can get some amazing stuff for 30-50% off right now.

My Walmart didn’t have too much – bows, white boxes and stockings. Larger Walmarts might have holiday colored storage bins which are a great deal. I also went to a few grocery stores today and they had carts lined up full of treats, packaging and decor.

Food!

Tons of food still left over. If you’re needing to bake for parties or need sweets for any reason, go pick through those shelves.

There are mountains of candy, baking kits and packaged cookies but also savory gift packages as well like salt sets, mixer sets and gourmet food items.

I snagged this giant from Homegoods for 50% off. Homegoods also had quite a bit of chocolate truffle tins left as well as a variety of spice, oil and pasta kits. Your grocery store will also have gift sets of chocolates and cookies on clearance right now.

BEAUTY!!!!

All those sets are on sale now!!! Sephora, Ulta, Target and Kohls have some great makeup, hair, and skincare sets on sale. Those bareMinerals value sizes were a crazy deal before this sale!

I like the bath kits to replenish my guest baskets after I’ve had holiday guests for a few days.

Odds & Ends

It’s not just holiday items that are on sale right now. Plenty of other seasonal items are on clearance as well. I saw some good clearance items at Target today like toys, bedding, home decor and kitchen cupboard stuffers. I really wanted that flannel bedding but we rarely use the 3 sets we have now… We’re not in Vermont anymore! I picked up a giant deck of cards for 50% off ($4.98) to start aging for my Alice Halloween party. I also saw a great slow cooker two set for $14.98 (30% off) if you entertain a lot!
